The Magnificent Butcher
Our Thoughts
I had to write something like this because I watched the final scene on a Facebook reel and I was intrigued. This movie is a 70s version of a almost slapstick Jackie Chan type movie that right in the middle has a serious and graphic (for the time) rape scene that is totally out of character with the rest of the movie. You can’t watch the rest of the movie and enjoy it because of just how out of character and place that seemed.
Overall, it’s a lot of fun, but you’re haunted by that one scene. The final fight scene is epic for sure.
